ABOUT ME

Debi made her acting and singing debut at age 9 on the San Francisco stage.

As a high school freshman, Debi started entering Miss NJ Teen pageants to earn scholarships for college. Her practical, no-nonsense style won her dozens of public speaking and debate awards throughout high school and college. For a passionate performer, who thrives on stress, a career in Television Journalism seemed a natural calling.

Debi has anchored and reported News and Sports for several Television and Radio stations in Washington, D.C., West Virginia, New Jersey and New York. She returned to the New York area to work as a reporter in WNBC's "Chopper 4." As fate would have it, Debi was not in "Chopper 4" on the day it crashed; she was in the Poconos playing golf.

Well-known for her hands-on stories, Debi has flown a Fighter Jet plane, covered the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, the New York World Series-Subway Series, NY Giants and NJ Devils playoff games, plus the Senior PGA Tour. She's even exercised with fitness visionary Richard Simmons.

As an actress, Debi has appeared in several Off-Broadway plays and musicals. She has acted in many commercials and modeled in several ads, including toothpaste, pharmaceutical products, and AT&T.  She's also done promotional modeling for beauty products like Pantene, Crest White Strips and All You Magazine.

To meet the gritty, sexy world of television news (and the serenity of life in Italy) check out Debi's debut novel, Confessions of a Television Reporter, available in paperback and as an e-book on Amazon.com.

Debi was the original Spokesperson for Xcersole™, a weighted sneaker insole that enhances athletic training.

Debi attended Syracuse University and graduated from Emerson College in Boston at the age of 21 with an extensive degree in Broadcast Journalism and Speech.

She studied acting with one of New York City's premire coaches, Sande Shurin, as well as The Barrow Group, a prestigious Off-Broadway Theatre Company and Acting School.

Debi starred in the Off Broadway Sketch Comedy "Something Outrageous", based on The Second City in Chicago.
